Compassion Ministry
Our Compassion Ministry team reaches out to touch the hearts of our church family by offering care, support, and comfort to those experiencing grief, illness, or going through difficult circumstances.
Opportunities on this team include:
Hospital and funeral visitation to provide spiritual and emotional comfort and support during the patient’s hospital confinement, or for individuals grieving the loss of a family member or friend.
Preparing and delivering meals to persons or families who need temporary support due to illness, hospitalization, or a death in the family. Volunteers also help to supply refreshments for funeral gatherings if requested.
Provide transportation to people who need help getting to doctor appointments, or picking up prescriptions and groceries.
Engage in intercessory prayer for the special requests of those in need.
Sending cards to express love, prayers, and concern.
If the Lord is stirring your heart and you would like more information on how you can be a part of this significant and rewarding ministry, please contact Roberta Truza at 470.9800. You can help to lighten the load for people in our church body who are experiencing difficulties.
