Help for men struggling with sexual temptation and addictions. New group begins in February 2007.
How can anyone remain pure in our world with its sexual temptations? We see sexual images on billboards, television commercials, music videos, and magazine covers. The Internet makes pornography readily available to anyone with a computer and a modem. Plus, the interactive features of the Web — e-mail, newsgroups and chat rooms — easily connect strangers who share sexual interests, luring married men and women away from their families.
Many Christians are vulnerable to sexual sins. Almost one of every seven calls received on the Focus on the Family Pastoral Care Line concerns Internet pornography. Finding freedom from sexual temptations is possible. It’s not often a simple process, but it can be achieved through accountability and spiritual reflection.
Passion for Purity is a Christ-centered, Biblically-based men’s group for those seeking freedom from sexual temptations. Participants find the extra care and encouragement necessary to get beneath the behavior in order to heal distorted thoughts, damaged emotions, and a wounded spirit.
